Separation Anxiety in dogs?
She is not destructive but barks and barks whenever we leave. I have tried ignoring her when I come home and giving her treats when I leave, but nothing seems to help. We live in an apartment and are now receiving complaints about her ‘constant barking for half an hour’ when we leave for work in the morning… I have called a trainer to come give private lessons and I’m wondering if anyone has had success with this? Has anyones dog been able to overcome separation anxiety? She will be 2 in January and has been doing this for about a year.
Yes a great trainer can work wonders we’ve been through it and after only a couple of visits the problem is gone
