dog anxiety symptoms
Is this just another symptom of puppy anxiety?
Just around 4:30pm today (now is approx. 8:30pm) I brought my new 9 week old puppy home, and I found she was having a bit of diarrhoea. Also, just recently I was having dinner when I heard my puppy crying and yelping so I went to see what all the fuss was about and I found she had some more diarrhoea and next to it was a strange puddle of yellow/brown muck resembling vomit. I’ve noticed she has been a little timid, shocked and scared when you approach her sometimes, but I’ve been making an effort to comfort her and give her cuddles. Before we picked her up, we had been provided with proof of vaccinations, vet checks, microchipping and a puppy manual, but is it still possible that she could be ill? She hasn’t been around any dogs since we got her, so maybe is it just anxiety symptoms? Please, I’m very worried about my puppy. Answers?
Thanks, that makes me feel a bit better… We drove 2 and a half hours away to get her!
Yeah it is you need to spend as much time as this dog as possible but give it a bit of space make sure that your dog gets to meet other dogs….
If it doesnt this can result in bad behaviour later on when it see’s another dog….
Give it pleanty of treats when its good….
If this doesnt work go to a vet….
