Diagnosis of Disorder?
I have seen a psychiatrist for my stress problems. However, I have not been back since I began my first relationship with my girlfriend. I am plagued by unfounded thoughts that she will or is cheating on me. I search through her things and call her phone repeatedly when she does not answer. I have her call me when she leaves and arrives places. She has done everything in her power to calm my fears and I have never discovered her lying or cheating. I have uncontrollable shaking and crying when she sometimes does not answer her phone and images of her cheating fill my mind. I do not know what causes this problem, but I know it is with myself, and I need to fix it before it destroys this relationship. I love her more than anything in the world and I know that she would never want to be with anyone else, but it seems when I become “like I do” I forget this and I only think she is cheating. I also become obsessively jealous. Please help me! What could this be? Anxiety disorder?
Talk to your M.D. maybe it is an anxiety disorder and something as simple as taking zoloft would solve your problem. But I would do it asap because the unhealthy way your acting will destroy you and your relationship. Good Luck!
