dental anxiety children
7 year olds top front tooth not coming through after baby tooth came out 11 months ago?
One of my 7 year old sons top front teeth is showing no signs at all of coming through despite his baby tooth coming out nearly 11 months ago. He has a dental apt this afternoon but I am really concerned about it as I have ALWAYS looked after my children’s teeth and I think no one wants a crooked smile when they are adults.
Also on his adult top tooth that has come through (next to the one that hasn’t) there are bright white marks on it.
My little boy already has anxiety (diagnosed) and I just don’t want him to have anything else to worry him…..thank you in advance!
I’m not making him anxious!!!!
I haven’t even told him I’m worried about it, and the appointment today is just a routine check up.
I know how to handle his anxiety as have had 7 years of doing it, so the last thing I would do is MAKE him worry over it…..I was asking for my sake!
It took one of my kids two years for a tooth to come through.
Don’t make him anxious about his teeth for heaven’s sake, poor kid.
